The European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) is set to launch 2 comprehensive Open Call for Tenders for the establishment of Framework Contracts dedicated to stakeholders' engagement and community management and also for the provision of business and IT services. These initiatives will ensure the uninterrupted availability of services while boosting collaboration with various stakeholders' groups and governing the associated initiatives.

The strategic focus of this action is facilitating the effective implementation of communities in the fields managed by EACEA, with a particular focus on education, training, youth, and sports. Noteworthy projects to benefit from this initiative include the Electronic Platform for Adult Learning in Europe (EPALE), European School Education Platform (including eTwinning), the European Digital Education Hub, Digital Education Hackathon, the European Student Card Initiative (ESCI), and others.

The primary objective of the upcoming call for tender is the "Provision of services to support Community management in the fields of the Erasmus+ Programme" and the “Provision of Business and IT Services (Specification, Development, Maintenance, and Support)” respectively. Both Call for Tenders are anticipated to span four years of implementation, with an indicative total budget kept at a maximum of 50 000 000 EUR for each procurement procedure.

Key components of the Call for Tenders for community support services include an array of services aimed at reinforcing community engagement. This encompasses supporting engagement with various stakeholders, executing communication and editorial activities, producing audiovisual and printed materials, digital outreach through websites and platforms, organising online and onsite events, and fostering knowledge building and professional development activities.

Furthermore, the Call for Tenders for IT support services will ensure the business and technological aspects of various systems supporting the programmes managed by EACEA. This encompasses a range of services including specification, development, maintenance. To facilitate these services, they will be encompassed within a structured Framework Contract (FWC). Additionally, this contract will also extend to encompass data management services and any prospective initiatives that may arise.

The EACEA's visionary approach is set to improve the landscape of community management and IT support, ensuring the success of initiatives within the education, training, youth, and sports domains.
