The JUST EU and ME project empowers young people and representatives of youth associations to advocate for their social rights. The project is based on the principles of the European Pillar of Social Rights (EPSR), highlighting equal treatment and opportunities in employment, social protection, education, and access to goods and services, as upheld by the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the European Convention on Human Rights.
The project's key activities include a transnational capacity-building programme that equips young people with skills to advocate for social rights and youth-led initiatives that promote participation in the decision-making processes affecting their lives. Additionally, the project includes the development of a European Youth Manifesto, which promotes the right to freedom of expression and ensures that young people's voices are heard at the European level.
By supporting young people with the knowledge and skills, it supports their right to education and promotes social and economic inclusion.
