Tech Tales

Tech Tales (also known as Twisted Tales) reimagines fairy tales in a modern, digital format, addressing critical social issues for young audiences.

Applying the Twisted Tales methodology, the project has transformed some of the world’s most famous fairy tales and characters (e.g. Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White) into augmented reality experiences, audio tales, AR books, and interactive exhibitions to raise awareness about societal stigmas and violence. Through co-creation workshops implemented across classrooms and community centres in multiple European countries, TECH TALES has engaged children, educators, psychologists, and families in collaborative storytelling processes where young participants contribute drawings, voices, and ideas that shape characters and narratives. This fosters empathy, perspective-taking, creativity, and teamwork while providing educators and parents with concrete tools for facilitating meaningful conversations about diversity, identity, and inclusion.

The project's technology-enhanced approach has strengthened audience engagement and created lasting relationships with diverse communities, demonstrating measurable impact in building children's resilience and understanding of complex social challenges.
