The European Education and Culture Executive Agency has published a new report on the European Solidarity Corps cluster meeting.

Held on 3-4 December 2025 in Brussels, the meeting brought together project coordinators, volunteers, and staff from the Commission and EACEA to assess programme implementation and impact, providing the foundation for the report’s key findings.

The report shows positive results in helping young people grow, supporting communities, and promoting inclusion. It also highlights some challenges, such as managing volunteers, designing activities, and providing enough support. It suggests improving preparation, creating activities together with communities, strengthening support and inclusion, and building more equal partnerships.

Overall, the report concludes that volunteering is most effective when the right participants are engaged, communities are actively involved, and volunteers receive strong support, leading to lasting benefits for both young people and communities.
