Erasmus+ Teacher Academies launch event

Join the online launch of the Erasmus+ Teacher Academies on 21 February 2022. Mariya Gabriel, European Commissioner for Innovation, Research, Culture, Education and Youth, will announce the names of the first 11 selected Erasmus+ Teacher Academies!

The Erasmus+ Teacher Academies are one of the flagship initiatives of the European Education Area and Erasmus+ programme 2021-27. They will support teachers at all stages of their careers and enhance collaboration and networking between providers of teacher education and continuous professional development.

On 21 February 2022, Mariya Gabriel, European Commissioner for Innovation, Research, Culture, Education and Youth, will announce the names of the first 11 Erasmus+ Teacher Academies that have been selected after the call for proposal launched in 2021. Commissioner Gabriel will discuss with some of the selected projects how they will support, inter alia, education for environmental sustainability, developing mobility and professional communities among teachers, and facilitate teachers’ transition from studies to work with the support of digital means.
