An impressive total of 279 applicants have submitted their proposals for the new #BeActive EU Sport Awards, highlighting the growing interest and commitment across Europe to promote health and wellbeing through sport.
The #BeActive EU Sport Awards celebrate and support projects that foster physical activity, inclusion, engagement and tolerance through sport. The significant number of applications received shows the dedication of clubs, schools, non-profits and grassroots organisations to make a positive impact on society through sport.
As the next steps, experts will assess the applications based on impact, relevance and quality. The finalists will be announced in March 2026 and the winners will be celebrated at a special ceremony later next year. Winners will not only gain recognition but hopefully they will also inspire other organisations and individuals to #BeActive!
