On 20 March 2025, the European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) is organising a kick off meeting to launch the new Centres of Vocational Excellence (CoVEs) selected in 2024. These large projects aim at vocational education and training excellence in a wide diversity of sectors, including several new sectors for Centres of Vocational Excellence with high innovation potential, such as maritime and port industry and air mobility (drones and small aircrafts). Other sectors with strong economic importance are still well represented, including automotive/welding, building/housing, agriculture, manufacturing and hydrogen/smart energy.

Several proposals adopt a transversal approach addressing the twin transition with a horizontal focus. They address, for instance, quality in VET, EU isolated territories and corporate social responsibility in VET.

More information on these projects is available on the EU Funding & Tenders Portal

With these new projects, 64 CoVEs are now financed by EACEA.
