Online Info Session: Call for proposal to foster citizens’ engagement and participation – CERV Civil Dialogue

The European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) organised an online Info Session on 12 March 2026 from 10:00 am to 13:00 pm to present the funding opportunities under the Call for proposal to foster citizens’ engagement and participation - CERV-2026-CITIZENS-CIV (CIV26). 

The call will support the following three topics/priorities:

1. Supporting free, fair and inclusive electoral processes (focusing on information about elections and electoral rights, especially for mobile EU citizens, in full respect of Member States’ competences in organising elections).
2. Promoting citizens’ active engagement and democratic participation in public policymaking, beyond elections, as well as broader civic engagement.
3. Countering the spread of disinformation and foreign information manipulation and interference (FIMI) in the democratic debate and processes.

The information session provided details about CIV26 funding opportunities, including call’s objectives, priorities, eligibility criteria, and application process.
