Where do European countries stand when it comes to equity and inclusion in their higher education systems? Join this conference on Thursday 2 June from 11.30 to 13.00 to learn more.

The latest Eurydice report Towards equity and inclusion in higher education in Europe will be presented at the conference. Our speakers and Eurydice analysts will take part in a broad discussion on the education policies that influence equity and inclusion in higher education.

The report analyses the current level of alignment of European higher education systems with the 10 Principles and Guidelines agreed by all European Higher Education Area (EHEA) countries as a blueprint for improving the social dimension in education. There are 10 chapters, one addressing each Principle.

The report aims to help the relevant authorities improve equity in higher education by developing a tool for comparative mapping, thus making it possible to assess where countries stand in relation to the Principles and Guidelines in addressing the social dimension in education.

Assessing the situation is a necessary first step in building on and boosting equity and inclusion. The policy map resulting from the report gives an overview of the progress already made and the areas that still pose a particular challenge.

The presentation of the report will be followed by a Q&A session.
