The Una.Futura project is a key pillar of the Una Europa European University, launched in 2019 and bringing together eleven leading European research universities.
With over 500,000 students and almost 100,000 academic and administrative staff members involved, the project aims to build a truly “European inter-university environment”, which is a shared cross-border campus for teaching, research and innovation.
The alliance’s six focus areas reflect major societal challenges: cultural heritage, data science and artificial intelligence, European studies, future technologies, public health, and sustainability. Inherently interdisciplinary, these focus areas are designed to bring together experts to find new ways of collectively conducting the research of the future and forging new paths in education and societal outreach.
